Sheraton Was Nice

Hotel distance to the hot spots was not far, taxi was cheap. Hotel was nice & clean although not everyone understood English very well. Room was nice & comfortable and service was wonderfull.

Never again

The hotel is situated on the farthest of the Leblon Beach. It is about a 1.2 mile walk to Leblon Beach. The hotel is not a 4-1/2 star hotel. We stayed in a 10th fl room for 5 nights before changing rooms for the last night. 4 of the 5 nights, the air conditioning unit, located above the hallway, leaked and dripped all night, getting the carpet below all wet. We complained to the front desk, they say they'll fix it. It happens again. They only drained the AC drain pan in the ceiling and \nit drips again at about 2-3am each day. You can hear the drips onto the carpet. You can't sleep. They don't even soak up the carpets. We had to ask for towels. The water drains slowly in the bathroom sink and in the toilet. Many of the people I've talked too who stayed there when we were there said the same thing.

Beautiful setting for a hotel. Right on the beach where people play soccer every day. Very nice and very good barbecue area, where very good meat is served. Little pricy.
