This lively hotel and casino complex is another construction by the Agua Caliente band of the Cahuilla Indians, the original inhabitants of the Coachella Valley. The waters which fill the mineral baths of the men's and women's spa facilities were first used by the local Indians to treat their own ailments and to simply relax. Modern travelers are doing the same, and when the relaxation becomes too much to handle, there is always the adjacent casino or the Agua Bar & Grill. All 228 rooms were completely remodeled in 2003.

Never again - top notch it is not!

I thought I would check out this spa at the last minute since they had an open reservation. Never again! They start you off with a list of rooms that you may visit starting with the wet spa, the hot spa, the aroma therepy room etc., The aroma therey room was a small room with a Vicks humidifier!! My service was a 1/2 Swidish. The guy who serviced me kept noisy ice water and rubbing me with only one hand! His belly kept rubbing against my head as he moved from side to side. It was a bad exp. The kicker was the Jacuzzi! It as basically a tiled priviate bath tub with a shower curtin. Not worth the money or my time!
