Great location, poor service

Located on Agana Bay, you get some of the best sunsets off the bar/restaurant area. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. However, had an awful time trying to get some simple advice and help for traveling around Guam, had problems with water in the room, unprofessional staff, careless housekeeping...

Upon moving to Guam in 1996 to work at the hospital, I stayed in the Santa Fe on The Bay. It is a pleasing environment with a beautiful view of the ocean in which you can walk down a swim in safely. It had all of the essentials one could need with a convenient store across the road and a good old American Denny's right next door. I was very pleased with my stay there. You will also see a few Airforce or Navy personnel staying at this location upon coming or going from Guam. Other than what I have mentioned, you will find nothing else to do nearby. A taxi ride or rental car drive is about 10 minutes from all the tourist activities. Otherwise, Lay around, bask in the sun, and playing in the water is sometimes just as wonderful. ENJOY!
