Just down the street from its popular sister location the Soho Grand Hotel. Like its older sibling, the Tribeca Grand caters to hip, wealthy business types and tourists who prefer to avoid the noise and bustle of Midtown. It's proximity to Wall Street and such top Tribeca restaurants as Chanterelle and Bouley Bakery only adds to the appeal. The hotel offers all its guests such amenities as a built-in television in the bathroom, CD and VCR players, free Web access and an in-room safe.

This hotel boasts an amazing hip hotel bar with great bites. Its rooms are on the small side, but have super sleek details (like a small flat screen in the bathroom). Dark grays, and muted colors dress the room and this can make you easily want to sleep the day away. The staff was very courteous and helpful during my stay.
06 Jun 2005 | sullivansfThe Tribeca is right in the center of a great part of New York and close enough to the business end of things to still be convenient. The bar in the center of the lobby is a local hotspot. Like it's sister hotel, the Soho Grand, the Tribeca also has a lot of stylish amenities that make the place distinct. This isn't your bland Hilton or Hyatt. It's got character.
06 Jun 2005 | michaelseganGreat location for a hotel - right in the heart of Tribeca, with access to great restaurants and bars. The rooms are nice (they do have king-sized beds available, for taller guests). The downstairs bar is great, but it isn't conducive to getting to bed early (it can get loud). Staff is nice, helpful. If you need to stay downtown, I would reccomend the Tribeca Grand.
