A smart purpose built hotel and a fairly new addition to the city can be found in an ideal location close to the waterfront, just opposite the Albert Dock. Part of a large international chain, this is a good choice for visitors looking for modern and comfortable facilities at an attractive rate. The company policy is to provide a 24-hour service, which includes a manned reception, phone and fax service and availability of snacks as required. A self-service buffet breakfast costing around £4 is available from 6.30am-10am, but early or late risers can still obtain a light breakfast from 4am to midday. A two-course meal will cost between £10-£15 and a bottle of house wine will cost less than £8.
