Placed on the hill of Fourvière, the Villa Florentine is the darling of certain of politicians. It must be said that it does not lack charm. This is a four star hotel with everything you would expect in terms of comfort and quality of services on offer, but here you also have one of the most beautiful views of the town and the calm of Montee St Barthelemy. Go down the road, and you are in the heart of old Lyon, climb up and you overlook the town, sat on a tier of the Theâtre Antique or on a bench of the majestic basilica de Fourvière.
