Lovely Glaswegian Hotel

Nice and clean accommodation with excellent service. The room was immaculate and the breakfast and dinner here was the best i have tasted in a hotel for quite a while.

Don't book with Alpha Rooms

We hoped to stayat the Arthouse on Saturday 10/12. On arrival we were told two double rooms had not been booked even though we had confirmation and had been charged by alpha rooms. The hotel was fully booked and alpha rooms weren't interested in finding us similar accomodation all they could offer was a refund which is not what you want on a busy December Saturday. Yvonne at the Arthouse was great she managed to sort us out at a nearby hotel. I have stayed at the Arthouse in the past and will stay again when in Glasgow but will definately not be booking it through alpha rooms.

Very disappointing

Building work in progress with no prior notice and only bar grill restaurant open for breakfast. No dayrooms open at all on ground floor. Bathroom in junior suite very small and poorly laid out - one very small glass shelf over basin. Recent bathroom refurbishment is very poor standard. Shower did not work had to be relocated to standard room. Not double glazed in rear rooms - very noisy alley. Overcharged for room service.
