It is well served by taxis and has its own fleet of 10 chauffeur driven Rolls-Royces. It rises on a man-made island 280 metres offshore and is linked to the mainland by a slender causeway. The hotel ascends to a height of 321 metres, dominating the Dubai coastline. At night, it offers an unforgettable sight, surrounded by choreographed colour sculptures of water and fire.
