Opulently luxurious, Hotel Arts Barcelona is the city's crème de la crème. One of its greatest attractions is the view of the entire city from the top floors. Below it, you'll find Barceloneta and Nova Icària beaches, separated from Port Olímpic by the harbor walkway (Passeig Marítim). There's a famous sculpture of a huge fish at the front door by Frank Gehry that provides symbolic shade from the Mediterranean sun. Breakfast is included in all the rooms on the top floors and in the apartments; otherwise it is an additional charge. There are several restaurants at the hotel, including Cafe Veranda and Arola.

The best

This is far and away the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The service, the rooms, the knowledgable staff, everything was top notch. This hotel truly helped put this trip to Barcelona near the top of my list of favorite European destinations (so far).
