This extremely elegant hotel was built in the characteristic style of the celebrated Amsterdam School. It lies right in the heart of the city, overlooking the Singel canal. The Royal Palace on Dam Square and the flower market are within walking distance. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, hairdryer and telephone, and guests have access to the elevator. Have visited ten times!

Don't particularly like the decor. Very dutch in style but very brown. \n \nBar service excellent, when open. \n \nFood good value. \n \nProblems with late check in particularly after travelling overnight. 3pm even though rooms are ready. \n \nSpuistraat an ideal centre, close to tram stops, shopping, flower market and short walk to most popular tourist attractions. \n \nCafes and restaurants plentiful in the area.
