A fine hotel staffed with very nice and helpful people. As someone used to American standards, It felt a bit cramped, but I get the feeling that most other hotels in the city would be no more spacious. The best part of this hotel for me was its location. It’s right on the edge of 'old town' Montpellier. Staying at this hotel means you will be surrounded by 700 year-old buildings and monuments, plus a fair amount of upscale shopping. I’d stay at this hotel again.

The staff is helpful, and the amenities are good by European standards. If you are fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the rear patio, you will be treated to a wonderful view of the Cathedral and the sound of its bells. The breakfast is pleasant on the patio, but you can find many less expensive alternatives nearby.
