Built for the 1992 World Fair (Expo 92) next to the old train station Plaza de Armas; hence the name. During the World Fair this was the Seville Pavilion and is currently a shopping centre. The building where the hotel is located is one of the most avant-garde in the city, in the heart of downtown and easily accessible, being on a main street.
