This modernist-style hotel was built in 1890 and completely renovated in 1991 in preparation for the 1992 Olympic Games. The simple and basic bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, and it is a delight to look out from the balconies and see the street-life on the busy Ramblas below. It's a popular tourist hotel, so book well in advance.

Great Hotel for value and location!

Had a great holiday and the hotel just made it even better. Didnt know what to expect reading the previous reviews but when we arrived we entered a lovely reception with marble florrs etc, the staff were so helpful and our room was great, yes it was small but it was clean tidy and the view was great, we also had a mini bar and the maid came every day to tidy up. Couldnt have asked for a better location right outside the metro and on 5 mins walk from the Areobus at top of road (3.75€) would highly recomend for value and location.
