Located on the far East end of Galveston Island next to the Ferry Landing, Harbor View Inn is the ideal place to escape the crowds while still remaining close to area attractions. Stewart Beach and East Beach are a mere five-minute drive, but if you are more of a shopper than a sun bunny, drive a few minutes more and you can spend hours browsing the unique offerings you will find in the Strand Historical District. Do not miss the spectacular view of Galveston Bay from the hotel.

Those other people can't wait to go back, well I can wait a life time!

This is by far the worst motel I have ever had the misfortune to run across. It was unkept, run down, and made you feel unclean. Probably the worst value for dollar I have ever spent. If you must, pitch a tent and shower on the beach.

Inexpensive, but nice motel on the island

Exceptionally well priced for lodging on the island. Staff is very friendly. Facilities are old; however, it is located next the ferry. (You can just walk on to ride the ferry & avoid long lines for cars.) Just a few minutes drive to the historic district where most of the Mardi Gras festivities are held and a few minutes from the main beach.

Harbor View Inn

We make this our Galveston Inn when we come on vacation each year. The rooms are always clean, the staff very efficient and always nice. The manager is excellent.
