This wonderful belle epoque building just outside the city center was once the home of Sacha Guitry, the French actor, author and film director famous for his razor-sharp wit. All rooms offer three-star comfort and some of the more expensive ones have a sea view. Bordering the fashionable residential district of Cimiez, it is close to Musee Chagall and Musee Matisse. The Palais des Congrès et Expositions Acropolis (Acropolis Conference and Exhibition Center) is just a 15-minute walk away: a boon for business travellers.
