Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva: Overview

THE VIEW IS WORTH THE PRICE!!

Stayed her for a few days last June with my father & I enjoyed it! This was a good chance to relax from my 3 kids at home. I had a lake facing room on the highest floor (right below the "Casino" sign). Ordered room service twice and it was good! Ice cream sundae was FABULOUS! Ordered a pay per view movie one night I could not sleep & it was in English perfectly. Had dinner in their restaurant and it was very tasty and service was great. Their version of chicken nuggets and french fries in Geneva is more healthy then the US way. The concierge was helpful to direct us to a lake boat cruise dock and directions to take a walk to the UN Building. Luggage was brought up fast and check-in was a breeze. The prices do get expensive, but worth the location. $40 US dollars per way from/to the airport & we walked the rest of the time. Great view of the Fountain from my balcony. And the hotel had a fruit plate and chocolates in my room waiting upon check in! A+ experience and totally recommended. I think we paid around $400 per room a night & had 2 rooms for 2 nights.
