The New Esplanade hotel offers excellent value, with great views across foreshore parkland and the Swan River. Located in the heart of Perth, it is only meters from the Supreme Court Gardens and just a short walk to the shopping and business districts. Barrack Street jetty is nearby with connections to South Perth, Swan Valley, Fremantle and Rottnest Island.

I stayed at this hotel in Oct. of 1990 so my information is dated.
I can say that the location was excellent - A nice view of the
Swan river and with in walking distance of an open air shopping mall as well as points of interest in down town Perth. It is also
convenient to a shuttle service that can take you all over the
city. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean
and comfortable but in need of renovation at the time I stayed there. With the renovation having taken place recently, I would
definately stay there again.
