We stayed at the Imperial Hotel, September 2004. This hotel is breath-takingly beautiful, from the first step into the marble foyer draped with gorgeous flowers and artwork. Relax in the seating areas or enjoy tea at any of the fine restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with nice mahongy - english furniture. The 1911 restaurant is beautiful, service is excellent and the restaurant overlooks a well manicured lawn, which is refreshing after the concrete streets of Delhi. The hotel is filled with pictures that tell the rich history of India and a fabulous collection of artwork on all floors. Service is excellent in all areas. We highly recommend this hotel!
