This luxurious and very modern hotel constructed in 1992, is situated in Las Condes, a residential area not far from the action of downtown. The hotel is well regarded for its high level of service and extensive business and leisure facilities. The air-conditioned rooms come equipped with en suite bathroom, mini bar, cable television, radio, telephone, and voicemail services. I loved the rooms, everyone has a magnificent view and they are big. The swimming pool is beautiful and all of the empolyees at every department, welcome you with a warm sincere smile and willing to assist you. There is nothing they can not do for you, they always have an option for every request.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThe Deluxe rooms are large, the service is very good, the staff is friendly. President Clinton stayed here in 1998, but in the Presidential Suite of course. It may not be up to snuff for the most discriminating traveler (built in 1992, it needs some updating), but I have been told Wi-Fi/broadband is coming to every room and floors are being renovated one at a time. The outdoor pool is in the process of getting new tiles. Should be great when summer gets here in another month or so. Fitness center is pretty good. I've inspected other hotels in Santiago (August 2004), and from what I've seen, this is one of the best. The lushly landscaped grounds gives the traveler an impression of being in an oasis. The sixteen story atrium is amazing - kind of like looking up inside a space station. It is also conveniently located near the Parque Arauco shopping center.
