This resort provides Hawaiian-style luxury with its world-class rooms, a championship golf course, six tennis courts, cuisine from around the world and a health spa. All of this is located on a 640-acre stretch of land on the western shore of Oahu. The Ihilani Spa specializes in water treatments, but regular massage, body wraps and fitness equipment are also available. Guests with children are encouraged to consider the Keiki Beachcomber Club, a children's club designed to keep young visitors completely entertained during their stay at Ihilani.

The whole experience in Hawaii was great, but the best part was the hotel. When you walked in the room it was just a straight hall way then there was a great big bathroom and bedroom. The food was great and they had hula shows every night.

Ahhhhhh

A great place to de-stress. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, and has a lot of kind and helpful staff. The spa services are great and relaxing. Rent a car if you want to roam beyond the resort grounds, because you'll be about 20 minutes from Honolulu. The concierge provides great written directions to shopping and other attractions, and will also help you book activities. I love this place, and recommend it to everyone. The pictures here and on its website don't do it justice -- it's beautiful.

Paradise Right Outside the Toursit Zone

This is a phenomenal property and has been one of my favorites for years. It can be pricey, but it is worth it. The service has always been impeccable, the restaurants wonderful (I usually can't stand hotel food in any way, shape or form) and the rooms large and full of amenities. The hotel has recently completed soft good renovations which just adds to the value of what you're getting. The pool is always sparkling though a bit small, but who needs a pool when you have the enclosed lagoon just steps away. The resort is quite a distance from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu/Waikiki, but this property exudes Hawaiiana with it's lush grounds, ocean sounds and relaxing atmosphere. If you don't want to island hop, yet don't want to be in the thick of the tourist zone, removed from city life, this is the place to be!
