The Little Nell

We just returned from a stay at The Little Nell and wanted to let everyone know that this IS THE PLACE TO STAY IN ASPEN. From the moment we arrived, we knew we could not have made a better choice. The hotel is beautiful. When we booked our reservation we were asked if this was a special occasion and we told them that we were celebrating our 27th anniversary. We booked the standerd room with town view. However was upgraded to a mountain view immediately upon check-in. We were even surprised with a chilled bottle of champange the first evening. At night when we returned to our room we found not just a standard turn down service, they also had soft music playing and the lights turned down low, plus the entire room had been cleaned again (2 times in one day, you don't find that everywhere). The staff was awsome -- they don't want you to do anything for yourself. They are there to take care of everything! Oh yea, one other thing. We ordered room service one night and was sure surprised to find that they bring a actual TABLE to your room, not just walk in and leave a tray where ever there is room. This is not the first 5 star hotel we have stayed at, but is diffently the first 5 star hotel that treats their guest like a 5 star hotel. I could go on and on about how great this hotel is but you will just have to go to see for yourself.

Little Nell and Aspen Make a Perfect Match

Tucked into the base of Aspen Mountain, what the Little Nell lacks in size, it makes up in service. From the moment you arrive, you know that the staff has been well trained and knows what is expected from those who visit. The rooms are decorated with 1980's Trump style glam but have been well-maintained and are still luxurious. The location can't be beat - take the gondola up to the top of Aspen Mountain for skiing in the winter or yoga in the summer. Walk out the door and into Gucci, Prada, and YSL. For the discerning traveler, this hotel is for you.
