The Best Place

I think this is the best place in the world. Everyone was very nice. Whatever we wanted they did it for us. The people were the best part!

Very family friendly

My family has stayed here on several occasions and always had a wonderful time. A caveat is that we haven't visisted since the Fairmont acquired the property - it was last run by Starwood. Overall this is a really great place. The pool is great for adults and kids and their is a very protected beach/lagoon that is great for children and good for swimming/snorkeling. This is one of our favorite resorts in all of the Hawaiian islands.

This place is the best!

I have stayed here on two separate occasions over the past five years. This is a top notch hotel! The grounds are beautiful - you are truly in paradise when you are here! The weather on this part of the island is unbelievable - sunny and beautiful every day! It hardly ever rains - they leave the good furniture out on the decks - because it simply doesn't get rained on! (To compare, the other side of the island get 200 inches of rainfall a year!) The on-site restaurants are great - I love having a nice dinner at Brown's Beach House - right on the water, with the sunset for your view. The breakfast buffet here is one of the better on the island as well - I should know, as I've been to the Big Island on five different vacations, and have tried a lot of them out! You will not be disappointed when you stay at this hotel for a vacation!
