Beautiful Countryside Location

This hotel is set in beautiful countryside location overlooking the south downs with gardens and countryside surrounding. Although accessed from the main A22 road once inside you do not notice how close you are. Staff are friendly and helpfull and hotel was undergoing redecoration and refurbishment. Lovely outdoor swimming pool and outdoor tennis courts for the active. Only took 10 minutes to get to Eastbourne, and plenty to see and do in the area. Ideal for families as kids stay for free.

LIVESTOCK COME FREE.

Its fine if you don,t mind seeing pest control traps en route to the disabled ent, AND if you don,t mind wet carpet & snails walking on the inside of the g/f 4 poster bedroom,then I suppose its ok,BUT definately NOT FOR US!& certainly will not be returning or recommending to anyone,a total disaster, the only redeeming factor was Cathie the receptionist who did her best!

damp

We stayed at the Boship hotel late August with our two small children in a family room The hotel is in desperate need of redecoration and smelt strongly of damp. Our children were unable to sleep in their small side room due to the black mould growing on the ceiling. We spoke to the Management regarding the damp which we felt could be a health hazard if they had guest staying any longer than two nights, we felt that the room we stayed in should be treated for the damp problem before they allowed any guests to stay again. We were very disappointed and would not recommend anyone to stay at this shabby hotel.
