Ignacio L Vallarta 130, Puerto Vallarta, 48380, Mexico…
More and Maps
The location on the Rio Cuale River and Banderas Bay gives this hotel a unique outlook and spectacular views. Quaint bungalows are scattered in a courtyard surrounded by gardens. The rooms are well maintained and modestly furnished. A private patio will be your own little paradise when you need to get away from tourist-filled destinations. The bungalows are limited, so be sure to make a reservation early. Don't let this place slip away from you.

The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and very well taken care of. The entire property is a sparkling jewel in the center of old PV. The staff are very attentive and are always available when you need them. We haven't been there for several years - I think it may be time to make a return visit. \n \nThe cabanas are well appointed and very comfortable and the garden setting is lovely. Sunbathing and lounging beside the oceanfront pool can't be beat. I've recommended this hotel to several friends and will continue to do so.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserSUCH A ROMANTIC SETTING IN THE TROPICS IS HARD TO FIND. THIS HOTEL IS SOMETHING OUT OF THE 20S BUT WITH 21ST CENTURY AMENITIES. NOT YOUR PLASTIC, RUN-OF-THE-MILL RESORT, BUT RATHER A UNIQUE REFUGE WITH THE CHARM THAT IS A DREAM OF THE TROPICS.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThe Molina de Agua is a older but nice hotel, alongside the river in the heart of town. There is a net over the walkways to protect you from falling mangoes and several quiet pools, very peaceful. You're close to all the action but the grounds are large enough that late-night partying noises do not intrude. I've always found the hotel grounds to be peaceful but there have been reports of groups booking that can make lots of noise (I guess that's a risk anywhere). The rooms are low-tech, no tv and I don't believe most have a/c, but the fans work great. If you are looking for more of a Marriott-experience, you'll want to look elsewhere. But for a reasonable price, right in the center of town, Molina is much better than the timeshare places. Get a balcony room that faces right onto the ocean.
