Quiet and peaceful. This is a 2*, so don't expect a 5* and you will be alright. It is clean but it is getting older, but I would stay again. We had ants in our room, but it is Mexico, we have ants in Colorado too.

Come on February 2005

We have a family reunion there every other year and could not ask for anything nicer. With parents in their mid-70s, the resort always accomodates them with a ground floor room. The food is excellent and the staff is beyond reproach. Room cleanliness is as good as any I have seen. \nWe look forward to February 2005.

Patronising staff

Just came back from los Tules and although the hotel is located in a very nice area and the roomas are nice, the air conditioning fairly works and there were ants in our room they just solved with spraying some bug killer.
They changed us to another room after 2 night saying that the room had to be refurbished, which was lies as we then saw someone else in that room.
The room given was ok but the air con did not work at all.
The staff were rude and patronising pretending they spoke no english as I am mexican and my husband english, so when he wanted to discuss something they didn't want to speak to him. Although we had heard them sepeaking perfect english.
Vallarta is a tourist trap, If you don't like those sort of places I would recommend Huatulco instead.
