Ul Krucza 28, Warsaw, 00-522, Poland…
More and Maps
The architecture of this hotel is slowly becoming classic—it is a fine example of socialist realist design. The unusual use of columns on the upper level was intended as support for landing helicopters; so far none have ever actually landed here. The hotel has a popular swimming pool and the cafe is still frequented by Poland's former nobility. The structure was built between 1954-1958 and renovations have ensured that it remains popular for many years to come.
