DON'T STAY THERE
Dark and dingy. Lifts worked on an ad hoc basis.Bar staff very unpleasant and aggressive. Breakfast very poor. It may have been cheap but there is no way it is cheerful

Excellent location, beautiful building, helpful staff. Love the faded grandeur!! Loved the breakfasts - try the porridge - rib sticking!!
