Not bad by a long shot!

Having just come back from staying in the Athens Hilton, I would highly recommend it for the business traveler. It is well run; the food is good (if you like Greek food). The Galaxy Bar on the 13th Floor is the star attraction. At night you do have a stunning view of the Acropolis (really, really beautiful). However at €10.50 for a pint of beer, you really are paying for that view (The bar just off the foyer is €2 cheaper per drink). The rooms are very nice, although very typical of a high-end Hilton room. Broadband access in available in Deluxe and Executive Rooms (I don't know about the others). It's not satellite broadband, so most company VPN's work well. Mine did! Warning! A glass of Coke by the pool will cost you €5.00 At night, I highly recommend going out around the back of the Hilton to a little Bar/Club called Sui Generis. A lot cheaper than the Galaxy Bar, and great fun! (Be careful if the staff present you with a drink called a "Submarine". We call them "Depth Charges" at home - and for a damn good reason!) Great hotel for business, would not recommend for families. I certainly would not bring my kids here (because all their "treats" would result in having to take out another mortgage on the house!). Enjoy!

Don't loose the chance to go to greece

I ve been travelling for years in many european cities for business. it was the first time i went to greece. i was really excited. Athens is really wonderfull(a bit chaotic)people are so friendly that make you feel that you are in an other world

the stupid, evil string cheese strangled me while i was sleep walking down the hall to the janitor's closet to kiss the mop. ( @ 1 am) The cook came after me with a giant boulder. there is a mad murderer named Devon luzell who murders you by flatening you with cheese blocks! My poor sister got flatened by the Evil barney toy! Don't go here!she is still to this day in the janitors closet! Check for yourself if you dare to go here! This hotel was !@#$#$$%^&&^W@#$%%&**^%$# $%&*^ 3$%^& 4%^&* %%&**
