Located between Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia and only 5 minutes from Plaça Catalunya, this is an ideal hotel for business trips as well as tourist visits. It is functional and comfortable, albeit somewhat unpretentious. However, if you come in April you'll see the street outside covered with roses as part of the Sant Jordi festival. The hotel offers a good place to stay for holidays. The restaurant Calderón , that serves authentic Mediterranean fare, is located here.

Up to expectations ...

Just to respond to another reviewer that said that it was the worst hotel they had stayed in - it may be the worst hotel they've stayed in but they must stay at 5 star hotels. This hotel is 4 star and you get a 4 star service. I have stayed in many hotels that claim to be 4 star and are not even 3 star - particularly in the UK where the staff attitude is often "couldn't care less".
