Located above Ouchy, the trendy lakeside suburb of Lausanne, this hotel has wonderful views. With its own private garden, this hotel offers the best of tranquility from the city center while being close enough to the action, should you want to indulge. Although once the exquisite Swiss home of the Spanish Royal Family, this hotel does tend to rely upon its past glory, for it has fallen slightly behind times and could afford a face lift.
