This is a charming hotel in the heart of Las Ramblas that inherited its attractive neoclassical façade from the old Hotel Manila. The interior design is a luxurious display of brocades and marble that attracts the rich and famous. It has a colorful decor characteristic of Provence. The result is a sense of light and space.

Not worthed !

I stayed at Le Meridien between October 9 to October 15, 2004. That was the worst hotel among the 6 hotels I stayed in during my trip in Spain. Certainly not a 5 stars !
This hotel is on renovation. For this only reason, the price should be reviewd at a lowest level because there are so much noise that you can't stay in your room during the day. We asked for a lowest price but it has been refused.
The room was small, with a view on the backyard which is like a hole. The staff does nothing more than the basic job. The night before our departure for the airport, which had to be at 5:30 am in the morning, we asked for a wake-up call. Nobody called us.
This hotel is not more than a 3-4 stars to me. No gym, no terrace, no interesting view.

not worth the price

located in a famous but not classy neighbourhood.
Expensive 4 star (not worth its 5 star rating)
Rooms are old. No pool nor fitness.
Staff do their job but not more.
Did not really feel welcomed.
Restaurant is good though
