Plaza Hotel & Casino is located at "the beginning" of the Fremont Street Experience, on the site of the old Union Railroad Depot in downtown. Known as Union Plaza when first built in 1971, it was one of the first skyscrapers in downtown Las Vegas. It has been the scene of many a famous Hollywood car chase. The Center Stage Restaurant, on top of the porte cochere and overlooking Fremont Street, is another landmark and excellent eatery with an amazing view.

Would not recommend this hotel

They were completely unorganized at check in and they are still trying to charge us for something we paid for through hotels.com. They don't keep good records and will try to screw you out of more money. I do not recommend this hotel.

NOT HAPPY WITH HOUSEKEEPING.

I WAS DISPPOINTED THAT AFTER NOT TAKING THAT LAST SWOOP THROUGH THE ROOM PRIOR TO CHECK OUT, A PAIR OF PAJAMA'S WERE LEFT BEHIND. AFTER MANY CALLS FOR A WEEK, THEY HAVE NOT FOUND THEM. THE HOUSEKEEPER MUST HAVE LIKED HOW CUTE THEY WERE AND DECIDED NOT TO TURN THEM IN.WHO ELSE WOULD WANT THEM? NOT HAPPY WITH THE DISHONESTY!!

ALREADY MADE RESERVATIONS FOR RETURN TRIP

the breakfast buffet was great and free since we were staying there. if you want to stay at a place where there isnt alot of traffic and people this is the place to stay.
