Solmar Suites: Overview

Great destination

This is a very good hotel, American style service and facilities. good food and service, a little over priced. Cabo st lucas is just a short walk away, with lots of good value food and entertainment and shopping. The beach at the hotel is dangerous and swimming is not possible,there are great beaches only a short cheap taxi ride away,try the Mango Deck.Weather is always good very little rain (its a dessert) we were there in June daytime temp 25/30c nightime 18/20c, it takes a little time to warm up in the mornings. The locals are very freindly and helpful, very few English visitors (I think we were the only ones there), all the other tourists were American, most arrive Friday and depart Monday they only stay a few days. Good places to eat, "Margharittaville, Sammy Haggars Cabo Wabo". Dont take £ or euros they only exchange US dollars, no travellers cheques If you like fishing this must be one of the best Marlin venues in the world, we fished with Solmar Fleets for 4 days and had 7 striped, and 19 tuna, We loved it, going back in Nov.
