Very much like a bus station with rooms attached. This resort hotel is extremely large and prevents the staff from being able to deliver anything other than perfunctionary service. Check in time is listed as 4 p.m. but we were unable to get a room till after 6. We were not alone and many of the people milling around the main lobby were also roomless guests and as disappointed as we were. Do not count on the hotel to be able to deliver an early check in so if you visit plan accordingly. \nRooms in the historic part of the hotel were adequate but if you are older beware the tub/shower unit which in our room was somewhat dangerous, due to slope in the tub. \nDining was somewhat below average for a hotel of this rating and again crowded, and we visited in the off season. The overall atmosphere at the hotel is one of "move them in, move them out" and truthfully not very relaxing. Nice views and location but overall a disappointment.
