Excellent

The view from the balconey overlooking Cannery Row is very enjoyable. The wood burning fireplace was great. The service was excellent.

Comfortable, Good location

Within walking distance of most Monterey attractions, and within biking distance of Lover's Point in nearby Pacific Grove, the Spindrift Inn is truly well situated.

The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, and the breakfast service was adequate. The seaside view far exceeds the streetside one in quality, but balcony access from both is a nice touch nonetheless.

The Spindrift Inn is most recommended by its direct access to a public beach where tide pool ecology can be observed. Sea anemones, starfish, and hermit crabs can all be seen up close in their natural environment, providing a great experience for adults and children alike.
