Awarded 3 stars and a palm by the tourist office. Opposite the confluence of the Saône and the Rhône, the Gerland quartier is quite vast. It is at the extreme south of the town and has relatively little commercial activity compared to the other sectors. Here you will find the biggest Lyonnaise stadium as well as the biggest concert hall, the 'Halle Tony Garneir.' The centre of town is quite far away but is quick to get to by car or on the tube (around 10 minutes). The hotel is immense, modern and offers a good quality of service. However, you should be warned that leaving by car during rush hour may cause some inconvenience.
