The interior is wonderful and especially suited for business visitors, and tourists who want that extra bit of luxury. Guests can relax in a whirlpool, or try out the health and relaxation center. Antwerp is fantastic, hotel disappointing.

This hotel is situated near the station and easy to find. The reception is clean and all staff are very helpful.
This hotel is currently (18/8/04) being refitted floor by floor, as hammering and drilling woke us from our lie in at about 9.00am
There is also a very strong stench of sewage (drains/excrement) in the corridors of some floors. We were on the fourth floor and asked to be relocated.
The second floor was a little better so we decided to give it a try, in a apparently newly “refitted” room. The room and bathroom were clean. The bath is a fine if you are short, but I am 5’6” and even my knees were above water when reclined. Although the room initially was stench free in the morning, the bathroom had an extremely strong stench of excrement. The mirror steams up due to the poor ventilation in the bathroom. The air-conditioning is also loud and some people will have problems sleeping with it on. The leisure area has a small gym, pool (about 20’x20’) but it does have power jets that you can swim into, spar bath, sauna and a Turkish bath (steam room) that was out of order and no lockable lockers were available.
The Bar was closed, but all rooms have a mini bar. Breakfast was available but we choose to eat out.
Antwerp is however fantastic!
