Presidente InterContinental: Overview

Go if you want to alone VERY ALONE

This is a nice hotel. The high ratings comes from history not location, nigtlife, or value. After one day you realize that the hotel next to it has 1/2 the high price food and is low in quality but service is excellent (we were the only ones eating). This hotel hard sells their time share and does not easily take no, it was not busy because it is in an isolated location. If you are looking for peace and quiet and do not have money to pay to travel to explore then stay here. The Mexican bus is cheap to get to the downtown area and the bus stop is by the hotel. Staff was really great. Rooms were "beach" quality like Hawaii This hotel is living off the Night of the Iguana era. Most would find it too quiet and boring as there were no extra activities offered to make you want to stay at the hotel. Pool was excellent. Drinks at pool bar were good. Beach was small and private. Food was not great but next door the eating area outside was EXCELLENT and hald the price.
