This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We have traveled across the country and stayed at all 5 star hotels and this one is the very best. Everything about it, the service was just excellent. Everything was and we will go back because our daughter lives near and that will give us an excuse to travel back the the Mansion.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThe restaurant is great, but the hotel leaves A LOT to be desired. Room was not that nice, dirty, and way overpriced. The staff was neither friendly nor helpful - some were inept and even rude. Extremely disappointing stay - don't waste your money - there are FAR better places to spend it.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserI called at 9:30 PM on Wednesday nite to make a reservation at the restaurant. After being on hold for 15 minutes with the same stupid message telling me I am important, I hung up, called again, asked if the restaurant was open, which it supposedly was, I had them transfer my call again and again for 15 minutes got the same message. There is a function to leave your phone number and a return call is promised. After 24 hours, I called again at noon on Thursday and the lady at the restaurant said "well if you would have called yesterday, I would have been able to get a reservation at the restaurant. \n I was going to stay at the hotel if I could get a restaurant reservation, but won't go back there ever because of no return phone call, terrible attitude and a total waste of my time on long distance three times.
