05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! Userbeautiful hotel in an excellrnt location, on the beach, great restaurants and the staff where helpfull and friendly, always a smile, we arrived on the 3rd of apr. and we where upgraded to an ocean front room in the rainbow tower, we where reserved for the diamond head tower, ocean view, the room we where upgraded to was alot more $$$ and we where given this at no extra charge,(suprise). the coffee shop across the street has great food at good prices, eat at Jackies Kitchen in the alamona shoping center about a mile down the street from the HHV, ribs are out of this world, although this hotel coast more then some others in Hawaii, if U want comfort and friendly excellent service and dont mind paying extra, this is the place to stay while in Hawaii, I dont think you will regrett it, we didnt, and look foward to going back, oh ya, take in a Luau and dinner cruse while in hawaii American Express travel, in the Hotel, can book most anything you would like to do on the Island.
