This grand hotel, with its 180-year-old heritage, is a charter member of the Historic Hotels of America. It is just minutes from many area attractions including the Flats, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Jacobs Field (directly accessible via the Terminal Tower). Public spaces within the hotel are stunning and include a Carrara marble fountain that graces the ornate lobby. The deluxe rooms feature stylish decor, but for a real treat upgrade to one of the numerous suites, which are pure luxury.

I love a great stay in a hotel, and I am usually willing to pay over $200 for a hotel room. This Renaissance was gorgeous, prime location, great service, quality bar, and San Souci was fabulous! Everything was so elegant and tasteful at only $119, which made it all the more enjoyable.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThe Renaissance hotels are among my favorite to stay at, and the Cleveland Renaissance is one of the best. It is certainly an excellent location- on public square, and adjacent to the ultra-trendy and upscale warehouse district. Accomadations were great. The price is reasonable considering the quality of the hotel. Indoor pool, great bar, and excellent restaurant.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserI am actually from the Cleveland area, and when my wife and I decided to spend a weekend downtown we choose the Renaissance. \n \nIt is in the very best location. The hotel is actually attached to Terminal Tower (where the Rapid Transit hub is located) and the Tower City shopping center. It also the only hotel from where you can walk to the Warehouse District. This district is where all the upscale bars and fine restaurants in Cleveland are located and offers excellent nightlife. \n \nThe Renaissance is also located in a very historic hotel building that is extremely lavish, and meticulously maintained. It has been a favorite of distinguished visitors for almost a century! \n \nWhile there are few other great hotels in Cleveland, the value of this hotel cannot be beat. A night at this Renaissance is a steal. I have always been surprised that it is only a AAA three diamond. I travel quite extensively, and it could almost be a five diamond.
