Honeymooner Be Aware

I think Sheraton Kauai is over rated. The ONLY good about for this hotel is its location. \nI book my honeymoon at this location more then 6 months before (can’t remember exact time) and request an oceanfront ($200+ per night, can’t remember and don’t want to remember exactly how much after you hear my story) with king size bed. \n \nAfter we got there, the front desk told us (the newly wedded) the only available bed size is two full beds due to the first come first serves. They even said some newly wedded prefer the full (Well, at least we not the one). \nAfter a long argue (for at least 30 minutes) with the front desk (I even willing to change the hotel), they finally give what I was asking for. Here is MORE! Before I left the front desk, another newly wedded couple just steps in and they not even need to say anything and they just got same type of room. \n \nTHIS MAKE ME WONDER HOW, WHY ….. \n \nThis not the end of nightmare! After I get into the room, the bathroom got dirty tower in the shower and the shower curtain is so smelly. I have to call the front desk and wait for someone to clean up the bathroom. Not yet finished! Later, I found out one of the sink (two sinks side by side) is almost stuck! Well, I give up for asking to have someone to do the plumbing just settle for the other sink. \n \nI will not go back to this hotel again. I wrote a complain letter to the Sheraton Corporation and got a little response. Wow they gave me some member points and good for about 1 night stay for same type of room. BIG DEAL! I just left there. \n \nFor any Honeymooner!! Find another One!! Unless you got the connection.

Already looking forward to next 3rd visit!

My wife and I loved the island and this hotel so much, that we visited twice last year (2004). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location of the hotel is excellent! Kiahuna (Poipu) Beach is beautiful, and is perfect for swimming, wading or just for late-night or early morning walks! Two-thumbs up!!!

six day visit

Nice place , AC did not cool well, pillows are bad,sheets didn't fit the bed. Ocean front view was over the pool.I wish we would have known we would have paid more. Food was great and the beach and pool very nice. Great deal for the price. People at shell's where very nice.We would return again.
