This deluxe hotel was built in 1902, and it has become a city landmark today. The Algonquin affords easy access to the Broadway Theater District, Fifth Avenue shopping, as well as the Midtown business district. Be sure to visit the Oak Room, famous for its Roundtable, where literary greats Dorothy Parker, James Thurber, Edna Ferber and others met in the 1920s for their Vicious Circle discussions.

The location is excelllent, the sevice is very good. It retains all the tradition and nostalgia of the 30's and 40īs but with XXI century confort.
