This recently renovated hotel, formerly the Best Western Manhattan, is located on a stretch of 32nd Street known as "Koreatown." The front desk staff members were nice. I had to change rooms for only a two night stay! The walls are paper thin.... I could hear the guy in the room next to me ALL NIGHT LONG talking on the phone. I can only guess that he was talking to someone in a completely different time zone...Korea, possibly? \n \nYou were restricted from opening the windows. The fan in the bathroom came on automatically with the light in the bathroom. It sounded like a jet engine. It was so loud I could not hear the TV 6 feet away. If you just want to slip into the bathroom at 2 am.... you don't do it quietly. \n \nThe ONLY amenity was shampoo...not even conditioner or lotion. \n \nThe cups in the bathroom were styrofoam (not to mention in the lobby for continental breakfast)... has anyone heard of the total devistation styrofoam has on the environment??? \n \nI must say, though, that the breakfast room was clean, and the food was plentiful. \n \nIf you are hoping to get tax exempt status..be sure to have a photo ID from your business. Business cards, etc are not accepted. I had to pay taxes, much to the ire of my employer (the state).
