Formerly the Hawaiian Regent, this has been a popular business and tourism destination for years. Marriott acquired the property and completed an extensive renovation. A new open-air entry, interactive water features and stunning gardens create the atmosphere of an island hideaway. In addition to the on-site amenities like the new Kuhio Beach Grill, the restaurant and nightlife of Waikiki are only moments away.

This hotel is across the road form the beach. The room is fine. The Hotel doesn't have anything for entertainment. The hotel stay is just like staying at an older Marriott or Hilton in any other part of the country. However, it is in a good location. The Hotel is a place to sleep and thats it. This shouldn't be a problem there are plenty of things to do on this island. So if you want a decent hotel for a good price. Stay here.
05 Jun 2005 | ryen99stayed 4 nights in february booked a city view and was given a triple upgrade to ocean view deluxe. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were great with big beds and spacious . Much better rooms then the Surfrider by a long shot.
