5 W Jones St, Savannah, Georgia, 31401, United States…
More and Maps
This home was built in 1847 by a wealthy merchant who promptly died, leaving it to his socialite widow. Resting quietly on an old brick street overhung by a canopy of ancient oaks and Spanish moss, the inn recalls Savannah's cotton boom days with great charm. Rooms are available in the house proper and in the restored carriage house, and feature oriental carpets and period antiques. The magnificent courtyard garden, site of daily breakfasts, is shaded by palms and soothed by the gentle bubbling of three dramatic fountains.

Great older home, with an Inn feeling, not a chessy B&B. Breakfast room was nice, good food. Wonderful staff, out of this world, making arrangements for food and tours. Location in garden district was lovely. Air conditioner a must in summer. I would return.
