Stayed 02/12 to 02/14, 2005 \n \nReally enjoyed my stay at the Wilshire Grand. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, no intrusive noises, good choice of channels on the tv, free wireless internet access in the room. There's also a game pad and a keyboard by the tv, I guess for internet and gameplay. \n \nOrdered room service once. It arrived quickly, and was hot and delicious. The tip is included in the charge, so there's no need to hand the server any bills. \n \nThe valet parking was $30 per night. When checking out, it's wise to call the valet from the room about 10 minutes before actually going down to the garage. This will minimize the amount of time you'll have to wait for your car. \n \nThere are several hotel shops in the building. Plenty of things to buy. \n \nFor the price, it wasn't bad.
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserUpon entering the Wilshire Grand, you are immediately under the impression that this is an elaborate hotel. \nService was excellent. Once exiting the elevator, on the 8th floor, I felt like I was at Hotel 6. \nThe carpet had stains and the walls were dirty. Once opening my room (843) I felt as if I were back on the Carnival Cruise my wife and I took on our honeymoon. \nThe room was small and had stains everywhere. The bathroom was tiny! If you sat on the toilet, the door hit your knees. \nWe obviously complained and was upgraded to a "so called" executive room on the 14th floor. \nThe excitement was short lived when we entered the same room on a higher floor. But I have to say it was a little nicer and cleaner. \nAll in all, I would never stay here again. It is by far not worth the price.
