We stayed at the hotel in January 2005. It was an old hotel that showed obvious signs of wear and tear. The room came equipped with a can of bug spray. On the up side, this hotel was conveniently located, had beachfront units available and housed one of the few restaurants on the island. Overall, it was an average hotel that fulfilled the basic requirements.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserI have been to Moloka'i twice now, with the hopes of making it back a third time in the near future. I chose Moloka'i because of the low tourism, I wanted to experience Hawaii for it's culture. We decided to stay at Hotel Moloka'i because it was a terrific deal. The package rate for flight, accomidations, and rental car was the best I've seen. The hotel itself was very impressive, the rooms clean, the view...breath-taking, and the staff was wonderfully nice and helpful. I loved how the restraunt is held completely outside and right on the shoreline. The front desk helped my husband and I with any plans we wanted to make, like snorkeling and hiking. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice comfortable place to stay. If you like things laid back and totally relaxing then anywhere on Moloka'i is a good choice, our experience will definately be bringing us back time and again.
