Nice hotel that can't be bothered to provide first rate service. My experience in the main bar -- which wasn't busy by any means -- was so bad that I sought out the manager to complain. The manager couldn't be found (of course), and nothing was done. The usual slipshod, who-cares, know-nothing, it's-not-my-concern service that one finds everywhere these days. Sad. Great pool and good restaurants. Rates aren't bad. But you really can't find good help nowadays.
06 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserMy husband & I have stayed there a couple of times in the off- season. The first time we used the "Entertainment Card" for a $300/day room for $200. The room faced the poolside but all you saw was the roof and air ducts, we really should have complained. The second time I applied for the Wyndham member card and we stayed in a great room, with view of the street, and with a basket of fruit and two Amstel lights. We were happy with the price and service. The pool area is very nice and we would stay there again.
06 Jun 2005 | goodie3_99I stayed at here with my parents and my grandma, and the only thing that was upsetting was the lack of service here in the hotel. My grandma had several needs and my dad made several calls to the front desk for assistance, and they took over three hours to deliver simple items like extra pillows and blankets. Other than that, the hotel was great, the pool was awesome and the sun was to die for.
