A USD25 million renovation updated this enormous property in the heart of Century City. The Century Plaza is a popular destination for industry executives, dignitaries and creative types, as well as convention-goers. The adjacent tower is smaller and quieter and offers more personal touches. Lovely, lush gardens and pools accented with water fountains add to the beauty and relaxation you will find here. 05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserI was expecting great things from this hotel, especially for the price and the fact it was a Westin Hotel. My stay around the Easter weekend turned out to be the worst hotel experience ever. First I had to change rooms with the construction noise across the road. The room I then ended up having on the other side of the hotel had so many problems and staff did not care. I had people walk in on me on my second night - they gave another room key out to someone and double booked the room, no apology. I had a phone line that did not work for 3 days and I complained to the reception and concierge several times only to finally be told someone had accidently blocked it. On my last evening I had 4 phone calls from reception from 8.30pm onwards and cleaners asking when I was going to be checking out and had a knock at my door with housekeeping wanting to service my room at 9.30pm. Many other problems with the room and to end off a perfectly awful stay they charged me twice for my stay and took a week to refund it. Never again....
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserWe stayed there for a week and it was so fun!!! We were there right before the Oscars and we saw many Hollywood Stars! We even got to take a picture with Don King! The only complaint was with our dining experience. The food was way over priced, took forever to get to us and when it came to us it was cold!
